Beveridge Central Precinct

Planning Scheme Amendment GC55 to the Mitchell and Whittlesea Planning Schemes

The Victorian Planning Authority (VPA), in consultation with Mitchell Shire Council and Government agencies, has prepared the Beveridge Central Precinct Structure plan (PSP) to guide new urban development in Beveridge Central.

The Beveridge Central PSP will provide up to 3,650 homes to accommodate a population of more than 10,200. Community and commercial facilities, including a sporting field, local convenience centres, a network of open space and a heritage trail will create an attractive environment for the precinct.

Beveridge North West Precinct

 

 

Planning Scheme Amendment C106 to Mitchell Shire Planning Scheme

The Victorian Planning Authority (VPA) is preparing a draft Amendment C106 to the Mitchell Shire Planning Scheme. This amendment concerns the preparation of the Beveridge North West Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) and the Beveridge North West Development Contributions Plan (DCP). The VPA will prepare these plans in consultation with the Mitchell Shire Council, Government agencies and service authorities.

Clyde South Precinct

 

 

The Clyde South PSP covers an area of around 1,100Ha within the City of Casey and will be a predominantly residential precinct as envisaged by the South east Growth Corridor Plan

The Clyde South PSP is expected to commence in the 2nd half of 2017.

Craigieburn West Precinct

 

 

The VPA is working closely with Hume City Council to assist in the preparation of the Craigieburn West Precinct Structure Plan. Background reports are to commence in 2017.

The Craigieburn West PSP is bound by the Lindum Vale PSP to the north, the Craigieburn PSP to the east, the Greenvale PSP to the south and the Urban Growth Boundary to the West at Mickleham Road.

Craigieburn West PSP will complete the Craigieburn growth front and complement the existing community through the provision of residential, recreation, community and employment opportunities.

Donnybrook/Woodstock Precinct

 

 

The Victorian Planning Authority (VPA) has prepared a draft Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) with the assistance of the City of Whittlesea, Shire of Mitchell, Government agencies, service authorities and major stakeholders. The PSP will guide development of a new residential precinct in Donnybrook and Woodstock.

The Donnybrook/Woodstock PSP covers an area of approximately 1,786 hectares in the City of Whittlesea and Shire of Mitchell. Located north of Donnybrook Road between the Melbourne-Sydney Railway and Epping-Merriang Road. This precinct will ultimately support a residential community of approximately 16,400 dwellings, a projected population of around 46,000 and deliver more than 3,000 local jobs.
